Business
Government needs to help businesses grow, not create roadblocks. To do that we need an environment that allows businesses to grow. Schools, colleges, and businesses should work together to supply a skilled workforce and train existing workers.
Education
Give school districts a break. The state needs a moratorium on expensive initiatives and unfunded mandates so schools can do what they do best: teach our children, with input from teachers and parents alike.
Families
Having raised four children, I know the pressures of tight family budgets. Family values/interests should be a focal part of the legislature's work – including children, parents and grandparents.
I want to be your State Representative. I believe strong families attract strong businesses, making strong communities. My background is on the back of this letter. By Election Day I want to hear from you and earn your support.
